Community Outreach Services
Ministering to the community is beneficial in many ways. It spreads the Word of God to the youth, gives them an opportunity to participate in fun activities, provides meals, and builds confidence in themselves.
We believe meeting residents where they live is crucial to awareness and the comfort level of Oxford residents. Building trust leads to a willingness for non-members to engage in discussions, ask questions, learn about Christ, and ultimately become members of our church.
We have conducted clothing drives, food drives, and provided fun events and free meals to many residents of the Oxford community.
Watching young people participate in games and activities is rewarding but listening to them as they share their enthusiasm and eagerness to learn more about the Bible is rewarding.
Youth Ministry
Our Youth Ministry at First Baptist Church is committed to nurturing the spiritual growth and development of our young members. We provide a safe and inclusive space for teenagers and young adults to learn, connect, and be inspired.
We aim to help our youth build a strong foundation of faith, establish meaningful relationships, and discover their unique gifts and purpose.
Our dedicated team of leaders is passionate about equipping young people to navigate the challenges of life with God at their side.
Senior Ministry
Our church values and cherishes our senior citizens, who bring wisdom, experience, and a lifetime of faith to our community. First Baptist Church provides a supportive and nurturing environment for our older members to connect, grow spiritually, and serve.
Through regular fellowship activities, Bible studies, and outreach programs, we aim to meet the unique needs and interests of our seniors as they continue to play an invaluable role in our church family.
